Fulton Elementary School: A Turnaround School

Dearest Parents and Guardian:

We are nearing the end of the 2008-2009 school year, but there is a lot of learning to take place. We still expect both teachers and students to continue to work hard. This means that students must arrive to school on time (8:40am), in uniform, and with all of their supplies and homework. Students will continue to receive homework until the end of the school year. Please ensure that they complete all assignments. Parents, we have a number of events planned in this month and the remainder of the school year. We will host a mother/son event, Parent Informational Session on Track E School, Family Science Night, etc. Our young people have learned a lot this year. We want to build on all of their accomplishments. Some students will be recommended for summer school to support their learning. Please take advantage of this opportunity. Special thanks to all of the students with perfect attendance so far. Thanks to all of the parents that assist in the mornings. Thanks to all of the staff for all of their efforts. We are a Track E School!

Robert Fulton School is going to the year-round schedule next school year: (2009-2010). In an attempt to improve students’ achievement at Fulton, our school year will be reorganized.
